If a specific workflow, feature, or client use case requires access to more precise location information, we will do so only where technically enabled, lawfully permitted, and, where required, based on clear notice and active user consent or authorized client instruction.

Information stored on device versus remotely

AssessHub does not generally store core business records or primary personal data permanently on a user’s device. Limited information may be stored locally on a user’s browser or device for functionality, such as cookies, session tokens, cached preferences, login state, or temporary files. Primary service data, including account, workflow, assessment, reporting, and operational data, is generally stored remotely on our systems or authorized infrastructure providers.

  • ensuring platform security and preventing fraud or misuse

Client Instructions (Processor Role)

Where AssessHub provides Services to a client organization (such as an employer, recruiter, or institution), we generally act as a data processor or service provider.

  • the client organization determines the purpose of processing
  • the client organization is responsible for establishing the lawful basis, including obtaining consent where required
  • AssessHub processes personal information only on documented instructions of the client organization and in accordance with applicable contracts and law

Consent (Limited Scenarios)

AssessHub does not generally collect consent directly from candidates or employees when processing data on behalf of client organizations.

Where AssessHub interacts directly with individuals (e.g., website inquiries, marketing communications), or where a specific feature requires it under applicable law, we may rely on consent.

Where consent is used:

  • it will be obtained in accordance with applicable law
  • it may be withdrawn at any time
  • withdrawal will not affect prior lawful processing

Device and Feature Permissions

  • securitylogs, backups, and operational records may be retained according to internal retention schedules, compliance obligations, and recovery requirements

When we no longer have a lawful need to keep personal information, we will delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it, subject to backups, legal holds, contractual obligations, and technical constraints.

Where AssessHub processes data on behalf of a client organization, the client organization generally determines the purpose of processing and remains responsible for its instructions, notices, and lawful basis where required.

Authorized client representatives may request access, correction, deletion, export, or audit-related information in accordance with applicable contracts and law.

14. AI, PROCTORING, RECORDING, AND ASSESSMENT-SPECIFIC PROCESSING

Depending on the product configuration, client setup, and feature usage, AssessHub may process data associated with:

  • audioor video interview recordings
  • transcripts
  • chatbotinteractions
  • workflowdecisions
  • proctoringevents
  • anti-cheatingsignals
  • benchmarkedreports
  • analyticsand recommendation outputs

Such processing may be carried out to deliver the requested Services, maintain assessment integrity, provide reports and insights, support operational workflows, improve quality, and detect abuse or fraud.

Where required by law or client policy, users will be provided appropriate notice or consent mechanisms for such features.

AssessHub does not use information for unrelated purposes where prohibited by contract or applicable law.

We maintain incident response and security management processes designed to identify, contain, investigate, remediate, and document security incidents.

Where required by applicable law or contract, we will notify affected clients, users, or authorities within the applicable legal or contractual timelines, and provide available information regarding the nature of the incident, affected data, mitigation steps, and recommended actions.
